Indie authors today are faced with an overwhelming array of choices. Herein lies a paradox: there are too many choices, especially in social media. It is easy for writers to lose sight of the most important thing, the writing itself. Yes, there is a need to develop an online presence but, first and foremost, there is a mandate to create product. These tips come from my own experience and really work for me. In fact, I just came from a tea & critique session with two author friends (suggestion mentioned under “get help” in blog post). Our session was stuffed with ideas, edits, and encouragement. A great way to spend a couple of hours.
